There are so many Christian women overwhelmed by fear and their current life circumstances. You may be there...overwhelmed by the fear of staying in an abusive relationship...and even more overwhelmed by the fear of what you face if you step out on faith to leave your abusive husband. I have heard you say, "I don't know where we would live. I don't have any money of my own. I don't have a job. I don't know what he would do if we leave." Most frequently, I hear, "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO," spoken with great conviction and fear.
You are in a bad situation--that is true. But you also know Jesus and you are going to have to look above and beyond your circumstances. You are going to have to remember who He is and the things He has done. You are going to have to choose to ignore the lies of the enemy being spoken to you by your husband and instead listen to Jesus...choose faith, not fear.
Believe that even when you see NO WAY OUT...when all you see is the Sea (of your problem(s) stretched before you and no way through...He has told you to keep walking in faith. SO, STEP INTO YOUR RED SEA (the insurmountable problem He has told you to walk up to) and FACE IT. BELIEVE He will do whatever He has to do (including the miraculous and unexplainable) to provide you a safe and dry path right through the sea of your problems.
When you are going through the fire, BELIEVE He will provide protection in the midst of the fire. While you are being tested, refined and purified in the fire (Zech. 13:9 "I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure. I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold," BELIEVE He will be walking with you making sure when it's done, no one will even be able to tell you have been in a fire! (Dan. 3:27 "...the fire had not touched them. Not a hair on their heads was singed, and their clothing was not scorched. They didn't even smell of smoke!"
When He tells you to go for your safety and the safety of your children, GO! Step into the water; the journey; the trial by fire He is guiding you to. There are great things waiting on the other side of your step of faith! There are resources available to you to leave and to be safe. If you call me or email me, I will provide those to you in your area.
