"It Takes Bravery to End a Relationship." - Leona Lewis

You have just gone through the holidays.  You hoped they would be different this year. You hoped your children would have wonderful memories. Unfortunately, the holidays seem to bring out the best in good people and the worst in abusers.

2016 can be very different if you will be brave. Leaving your abuser won't be easy but it will be worth it.  I would never tell you leaving will be easy. Telling you that would be setting you up to fail.

This will be the hardest thing and the best thing you’ve ever done.  This will be the scariest thing and most fearless thing you’ve ever done.  This will be the thing that makes you want to cower in another room but instead find your voice and stand up for yourself and your children.  Yes, it will certainly take bravery--but as you push through the drama, heartache and fear to the other side, you will be (like every other warrior who faces pain and death to save herself and others) a true hero.  Be brave!

1 Corinthians 16:13 “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.”  He WILL bring you through this trial.
